We (Shannon the Nutritionist and Claire the food blogger) both became first-time mums in early 2014 and a few months later, when our little guys were ready to start solids, were pretty overwhelmed with all the information out there.
When should we start? Do we go with purees or baby-led weaning? How do we make baby food? What’s the best way to start? How do we cook it and re-heat it? So many questions!
After a lot of research, chatting with other mums and nurses and adding Shannon’s Nutritionist knowledge, we came up with what we think is a pretty comprehensive introductory guide that answers all those questions (if only it was around when our babies were starting!).
Starting our little ones on solids was an exciting adventure and we’ve been through it all (twice each!) and are ready to help you.
